Introduction
The Elementals is an acapella community group choir. They specialize in African American gospel singing. Established in 1991 by Ian Laurence, The Elementals are based in Sydney, Australia.The choir itself is not religion specific.Their genres of music include contemporary pop, soul and spiritual songs. Conveying feelings through music is the main focus of this community gospel choir. Made up of 20 singers, The Elementals perform before live audiences 4 times a year. Auditions are held every Thursday from 7-9pm. Auditions are held during choir rehearsals and is not accompanied by music. An acapella song is to be sung during the audition.
