Kate is a Naturopath and Reiki Master. Her individual services include reiki, essential oils for health, individualized wellness plans, and natural living education. Kathy has been student and teacher of Classical Chinese Medicine since 2001. She is a practitioner of zazen meditation and has done extensive spiritual work through the Chinese Medical model as well as with the Enneagram and focusing, a process of “direct access to bodily knowing.” She's taught on topics like oncology support, infertility, menopause, natural birthing and navigating the delicate postpartum period with the assistance of acupuncture.

As a birth doula she is an experienced labor support professional who attends to the emotional and physical comfort needs of laboring women so that labor may progress as smoothly as possible. Kathy understands the physiology of birth and the emotional needs of women in labor. As a doula and a mother, she lends a calm perspective and reassuring presence. Because Kathy is a licensed acupuncturist, she can enhance the traditional doula support role with the ancient art of Chinese Medicine to encourage the safe and gentle unfolding of this natural process.
