But getting out is just the beginning. Coming back is where the building wants to really set itself apart. “The unique thing here is access to the hotel’s services,†Michael Smith, a vice president with the developer, recently told The Edmonton Journal, “Our residents will enjoy the comfort of their own private residents’ club, which is condominium owners only and includes things like a party room, board room, kitchen and lounge areas. They also have access to the broader range of hotel amenities: fitness, swimming pool and the like.†Smith also mentions that other hotel amenities will be available to residents on a contract basis.
The Legends Private Residences is part of a larger movement seen across the globe in high-end real estate. As condo buildings keep going up, what makes them different is what’s brining in the buyers. And since you can only have so many floor plans and so concierges, the difference sometimes comes in the little things.
