Introduction
Laser Guardian was founded to support the safe use of lasers in medicine and manufacturing. We provide FDA compliant validation of laser processes used for medical device manufacturing. Laser Guardian offers Six Sigma Black Belt problem solving, FDA compliant maintenance support; ANSI Z136 and Florida administrative code 64E-4 laser safety program development, audits and training. We have expanded our coverage to include a complete line of laser safety equipment and laser hazard awareness training. Laser Guardian recognized a gap for this type of support for law enforcement. There have been over 3,600 incidents of illegal use of lasers on pilots and law officers in 2012 and this trend is growing. We carry a line of laser eyewear specially designed for pilots, tactical and K9 units.
The Laser Guardian Principle is a member of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers and ANSI Z136.9 Safe Use of Lasers in Manufacturing Environments subcommittees. Tony is a member of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), Technical Advisory Group of the TC 76 committee for laser safety standards. IEC is one of the oldest standards making bodies in existence. He is also a Board of Laser Safety, Certified Laser Safety Officer #L3618 and a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt #456774. Laser Guardian is licensed and insured.
