Introduction
Located conveniently just south of Yonge & 19th Ave, every element of our gorgeous new building has been designed with children in mind. We are a single-use plaza, which means that no other businesses operate on our premises. All of our classrooms come with soaring floor-to-ceiling windows to provide plenty of natural sunlight and our state of the art security system ensures that our students are safe and protected at all times. Our lofty high ceilings also project an "open" architectural style that promotes peace-of-mind and creativity. After all, big ideas need lots of room to grow!
Through careful research and experience, First Roots has developed a unique program that is focused on catering to the individual needs of our students. Every child is different and we use a combination of the Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Multiple Intelligence approaches to develop and encourage their innate strengths. Our curriculum relies on a play-based learning model that involves a wide range of disciplines ranging from Language and Music courses to Nature and Nutritional education. Ultimately, we want to make sure that when your children are ready to enter the school system, they are armed with all the tools necessary to excel and prosper.
First Roots aims to combine “learning†and “play†in order to develop and nurture preschooler minds. Our goal is to provide children with a solid base for physical, socio-emotional and academic growth.
Apart from our Montessori and Reggio learning, we also offer Nutritious Baby Meals, Music and Movement, Little Farmers, Social Development, and more!
