Your instructor will have control of your car in the event of an emergency situation, as all models are dual-controlled. Before your first lesson with Smart Drive UK you will receive a Starter Pack. It contains access to Hazard Perception and Theory training, a guide to basic routines of driving, a progress report card, and appointment car and a list of safety questions with answers.Many of our students choose to continue on with the Pass Plus Scheme. The course helps new drivers to learn the knowledge, skills and attitudes to remain safe in difficult driving conditions. The course contains 6 modules on the following: All weather conditions; night driving; rural driving; urban driving; motorways; and dual carriageways. The modules last a minimum of one hour each. If you don't meet the approved standard for a module then you are able to repeat it. The course helps you to build driving experience and confidence, greatly reducing the probability of your being involved in a crash. Completing this course earns your a certificate from the DSA.
