Farmalabor is the leading company in selling pharmaceutical raw materials in Italy. It also
markets them throughout Europe.

Farmalabor has a huge number of Pharmacopoeia products (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients
and raw materials), in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines and
ISO standards (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
Farmalabor is the only Italian company with an internal Quality Control Laboratory fully
equipped for chemical and microbiological analysis supporting manufacturing, research and
development activities, in compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) regulations.
Farmalabor’s Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and raw materials are distributed in accordance
with GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
AIFA (Italian Medicines Agency) is the only Agency in the world issuing a manufacturing
authorisation for each Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient repacked. Farmalabor has an
authorisation, issued by AIFA and the Italian Ministry of Health, for manufacturing the
highest number of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

Among Farmalabor’s raw materials, there are:
 APIs repacked by Farmalabor: the company is authorized by AIFA as “Importer, Repacker &
Labeller” and for “allocating and releasing batches”;
 APIs marketed by Farmalabor: the company markets products purchased by EU companies;
 Raw materials for cosmetic and food use, complying with existing laws and regulations.
Each raw materials is provided with Technical Data Sheet and Certificate of Analysis, which
contains information about raw materials’ manufacturer, repacker and quality controller.
These documents contain GMO, ionizing radiations, BSE/TSE, Halal and Kosher declarations,
where relevant.
